Race Recap:

The 2025 Mobil 1 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway kicked off the Round of 12, and Ryan Blaney delivered when it mattered most. Starting strong, Blaney won Stage 1 and showed Penske speed all afternoon. Teammate Joey Logano, who started on pole, took Stage 2, keeping the organization out front through much of the day.

In the final stage, Blaney’s No. 12 Ford stayed out front and held off a late charge from Josh Berry, who came within a second but couldn’t make the pass. William Byron rounded out the top three after a solid run.

Race Notes:

  • Lead Changes: 14 among 7 drivers

  • Cautions: 8 for 45 laps

  • Margin of Victory: 0.937 seconds

  • Top 3: Blaney, Berry, Byron

Blaney’s victory marks his first career win at New Hampshire and locks him into the Round of 8, letting the rest of the playoff field fight for the remaining spots over the next two races.

Chaos Factor:

The race itself was decent race where I feel like you could actually watch the whole race and not get bored. A tire test was run in the spring where Goodyear tested a new tire, and I thought that paid off for the better.  I honestly would like to see New Hampshire remain in the Playoffs but the race is slated to be the next to last race in the Regular Season for 2026.  Out of 10, the Chaos Factor gets a solid 8.
