Bristol Motor Speedway once again delivered a decent race under the lights. The 2025 Bass Pro Shops Night Race served as the final Round of 16 Playoff event, with drivers battling for a spot in the Round of 12. After a night full of tire management, strategy gambles, and late-race chaos, Christopher Bell powered from fifth on a four-lap shootout to claim his first Bristol win on concrete. The victory gave Joe Gibbs Racing a sweep of all three Round of 16 races and secured Bell’s playoff advancement. Meanwhile, Austin Dillon, Shane van Gisbergen, Alex Bowman, and Josh Berry were eliminated from the playoffs, their championship hopes ending in Thunder Valley.
Chaos Factor: I may get a lot of pushback on my Chaos Factor rating but I gave the race an 8/10....... Although the tires played a huge put in strategy last night, the race was your typical Bristol race and lacked excitement, Hopefully New Hampshire this weekend can bump up that rating.
